Job Summary:
Fairfield Church of Christ is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Connections Minister to help foster a welcoming and engaging environment for our church family and visitors. This role focuses on overseeing small groups, managing new member integration and membership care, enhancing first impressions, and developing strategies to connect people to the life and mission of the church.

Key Responsibilities:

• Small Groups: Develop, oversee, and grow the church’s small group ministry, equipping leaders and ensuring groups meet the spiritual and relational needs of participants.

• New Members/Membership: Create pathways for new members to integrate into the church, including membership classes, follow-up systems, and opportunities for involvement.

• First Impressions: Lead and coordinate hospitality teams (greeters, ushers, etc.) to ensure a welcoming experience for all guests and members.

• Be a member of the preaching and teaching team

• Build meaningful relationships with members and guests, providing care, support, and opportunities for deeper connection.

• Collaborate with church leadership to develop and execute strategies for member engagement and retention.

• Assist in planning and executing events and initiatives that strengthen community and outreach.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and relational skills with a passion for connecting people to Christ and His church.

• Experience in church leadership, ministry, or related fields.

• Ability to recruit, train, and empower volunteers.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A commitment to the mission and values of Fairfield Church of Christ.

• Bachelor’s Degree Minimum preference in ministry field

Hours and Compensation:

Fairfield Church of Christ is seeking a creative and motivated Part-Time Social Media Director to manage and enhance our digital presence. The ideal candidate will oversee the church's social media platforms, develop engaging content, and implement strategies to strengthen our online outreach and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy aligned with the church's mission and goals.

• Create, curate, and schedule posts for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and others as needed.

• Design visually appealing graphics, videos, and written content to engage our audience.

• Monitor analytics to track engagement, growth, and reach, and adjust strategies as needed.

• Respond to comments, messages, and online interactions in a timely and positive manner.

• Collaborate with ministry leaders to promote events, sermons, and initiatives.

• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to maintain a relevant and impactful presence.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and planning abilities

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and trends.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in graphic design and/or video editing is preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers.

• Passion for sharing the message of Christ and supporting the mission of Fairfield Church of Christ.

Hours and Compensation:

• Approximately 20-25 hours per week with flexibility.

Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
Fairfield Church of Christ is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the church. This role requires strong administrative skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a welcoming presence as the first point of contact for members and guests. There is potential for this role to expand into other areas, such as social media coordination, based on experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage church communications, including phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.

• Oversee and maintain the church database and records using Planning Center (training available if needed).

• Prepare weekly bulletins and other print/digital materials as required.

• Assist with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and supporting ministry teams.

• Ensure efficient office operations, including filing, supply management, and general organization.

• Collaborate with staff to support church events, initiatives, and outreach efforts.

• Potential to assist with social media management or other ministry roles based on skills and interest.

Qualifications:

• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in or willingness to learn Planning Center and other church management tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• A heart for serving the church and supporting its mission.

Hours and Compensation:

• Approximately 25-30 hours per week with flexibility.

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
