New Horizons
Senior Adult Ministry
The New Horizons ministry serves the 55+ community at FCC by providing fellowship, service and learning opportunities. We recognize the tremendous value in this group and strive to utilize their wisdom, experience and life skills they possess.
We serve by providing fellowship opportunities such as luncheons at the church, day trips and sharing meals at local restaurants. A favorite trip is Senior Saints in the Smokies, a four-day fellowship and learning event near Knoxville, Tennessee. Some of our recent day trips include Krohn’s Conservatory, Amish Country tour in Indiana, annual picnic at Mason Christian Village, Beau Verra Glass Factory and the Golden Lamb in Lebanon, Ohio.
Service opportunities include, but not limited to…
Banana Bread ministry for new guests at FCC
Greeting Card Ministry
Sorting clothes at Rethreads
Master Provisions Ministry
Veteran’s Day Celebration
